Happy Teams by Tom Chute, Team Leader
Team Pragmatic has grown phenomenally in the last three years, with over 10 new positions opening each year. As a team grows it’s critical to keep existing team members happy, while attracting and welcoming new talent. A happy team means successful projects and happy clients. Tom will be chatting through some of the ways we work in teams, how we nurture a positive culture and some tools we use to help team members stay chilled in a high-octane agency environment.
How to Propel your Organisation Online with a WordPress Website by Angelo Giovino, Head of Sales
Angelo will go through the benefits of WordPress and will explain exactly what you can achieve in it. You’ll hear the reasons why we chose to specialise in WordPress and discover how it might be the best content management system for your organisation.
How to Get a Job in Digital by Phil Ward, WordPress Developer
Phil will talk about how he got into digital and the hurdles he faced along the way. He’ll go over how to find your niche in digital, how to improve your skill-set, how to make sure you’re the right person for a job opportunity at the right time, and if things don’t quite go to plan, how to recover when getting knocked back from opportunities.
UX & Creative Workflow in a WordPress Agency by Tom Still, Team Leader
Tom will be touching on some of our UX practices and the importance of applying UX/creative processes to a WordPress project. He’ll also explain how Pragmatic has embraced these methodologies and how they have changed us as an agency.
