The Headmasters awards & launch of their 2017 collection

The stage is set for the Headmasters Awards!

As Headmasters’ Digital Partner we had the absolute pleasure of attending the extravagant annual Headmasters Awards event last week!

Every year Headmasters puts on a themed award show hosted by a surprise celebrity guest. This year the theme was Rio Carnival and the awards were presented by TV personality Joey Essex from The Only Way is Essex. There was a room full of screams as Joey was announced as the presenter of the show. He certainly ensured the night was reem – a Joey-ism which apparently means “cool and fashionable”.

The awards were held at the colourful Battersea Evolution – a stylish venue in the centre of Battersea Park, London. The salons and hair stylists were in the running to win awards associated with business, in-salon performance and creative award categories that covered Salon of the Year, Busiest Stylist, Future Stars, Men & Women’s Image and Creative Colour Innovation amongst others. Each year they also do a prize draw staff incentive to win a car. This year one lucky employee won a brand new Mini Cooper !

The event showcased the exciting launch of their new 2017 collection and art team collection at the beginning of the awards in the form of a runway performance. The 2017 collection is a portfolio of on-trend and fashion-forward hair cut, colour and styling that their stylists have created themselves to be displayed in their salons. We’re proud to introduce the new 2017 collection updates throughout the Headmasters website and you can now view the full collection online here. Be sure to explore the rest of the site while you are there including a regularly updated What’s Trending area.
